As a kid i discovered the art of making paper beads. I made necklaces with my own beads, made from beautiful papers and magazine papers, for the entire family. Recently i rediscovered the art of making my own beads. But now i used my own painted papers to make beads. The process of making your own beads is very simple. Let me show you the steps.

First you take some colored or hand painted paper. You cut the paper in long triangle shaped strips.

Put some glue on the strips and roll them on to a knitting needle.

Embellish your beads with whatever you have laying around. Shiney yarn for instance, or glitters. Then polish them with a thin layer of transparent nailpolish. When your beads are completly dry you can make your own necklace.
