I lover paper. I’ve been collecting different kinds of paper since i was a kid. Origami papers, pictures and quotes from magazines, paper bags, collage papers, paper garlands and so on. Lately i saw some other artists making paper ribbons. I had to try this aswell. In this blog i’ll show you how i made them.
First i took some hand painted papers. If you want to know more about painted papers take a look at my july blog.
I cut my painted papers into several strips.
I wrinkled the strips when i put them under my sewing machine and i sew them from top to bottom. After that i embellished my paper ribbons with some funky yarn 🙂 You can use your own paper ribbons to embellish your journal (pages) or creative projects.
